Mark is our Managing Director; he’s a passionate, friendly chap that has been recruiting for 23 years and managing recruitment businesses for 21 of those years. He’s actively involved in recruitment strategy, retention strategy and promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. He’s a passionate advocate of our five key pillars and how they can benefit our clients business’s and the work that we can do to support the sectors we deliver in.

A passionate sportsman and sports fan, has a love for life and activity, lives his life with a big smile and an infectious personality.
Professional Life
Mark’s recruitment path started as a graduate in 2000 working for a large technical recruiter business covering IT and technical search, two years and a couple of promotions later he moved on and became a manager of a different business covering IT, Infrastructure, Energy and the built environment, this is where he honed his skills for larger and more complex projects delivering technical search skills to hard-to-find skill sets. Several promotions later he was running the business and responsible to the board.
It was then time after cutting his teeth having worked for a large recruitment business and a start-up to take the leap and start Fission.
Why Fission? That’s a very long story, but in short, fission has huge potential is a source of power and energy, delivering many times the impact of the raw materials. This appeared to be very apt and fitting to what Mark’s wants to bring to clients.
